PREACHING CONFERENCE
Although the Preaching Conference officially begins with the Monday evening service, we would be delighted to have guests arrive for our Sunday services. There will be two messages preached each evening, as well as many messages during the morning services on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will hear from approximately eighteen different preachers during the three day meeting.

MISSIONS SEMINAR
May 1-2, 2008
A brief, but concentrated, seminar with an emphasis on local church missions will follow the Preaching Conference. The purpose in combining these meetings is for the sake of convenience for our speakers and guests. The Missions Seminar will address both doctrinal and practical aspects of New Testament missions. A sampling of some of the topics which will be covered include; “The Church’s Responsibility To The Missionary,” “The Missionary’s Responsibility To The Church,” “Local Church Missionary Authority,” “Deputation,” “Indigenous Principles,” “Cross-Cultural Issues,” “The Importance Of Church Missions Trips,” “Discipleship,” “Crises Management,” “Outreach Strategies,” “Pastoring the Missionary,” “Faith To Believe,” “Missions At Home And Abroad,” as well as Question and Answer sessions. Our prayer is that the Missions Conference will serve to better equip each of us with the tools to promote and carry out our Lord’s command as well as rekindle our passion for world evangelism.

MISCELLANEOUS CONFERENCE INFORMATION
Our church will provide lunch each day, Tuesday through Friday, and a meal after the services each evening, Monday through Friday.
We have arranged for special rates at two area motels. Budget Lodging, which is owned by Christians, is the nicest motel in town and our preferred choice. They have offered us a rate of $49 per night for two persons in the room. Budget Lodging can be viewed at www.budgetlodging.com. Reservations can be made by calling (800) 958-4354 or (636) 629-1000. Super 8 Motel has offered a special rate of $45 per night for one bed and $48 for two beds. Reservations can be made by calling (636) 629-8080. Be sure to ask for the special rate for the Preaching Conference at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Both of these motels are approximately two miles from our church building.
A room and tables will be available for book sales or missionary displays. To assist us in making our conference preparations, we would appreciate it if those attending would register in advance.
